FEES AND ADMISSION

Classes such as English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education and High School Diploma receive some funding by the State of California based on student attendance, making classes reduced cost. All teachers are credentialed or experts in their fields. Class fees vary according to length and/or type of class. Books are provided for students in Adult Basic Education, High School Diploma, and English as a Second Language. Some classes require the purchase of books or materials. Sorry, we cannot purchase used books. Classes are primarily for adults 18 years or older. You do not have to live in San Leandro to attend.

REFUNDS
No refunds unless a class is cancelled. No transfer of fees. No exceptions to this policy.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR ALL Older Adults / Seniors +
San Leandro Adult School offers a wide variety of classes for older adults and Seniors 50+, taught at the San Leandro Senior Community Center. Adults ages 50 years and older may attend one or more classes to stay active in mind, body and spirit.

For your convenience, we offer three ways to register:
1. You may register by mail by downloading and printing out the registration form available in the link above.
2. You may register online for a small fee.
3. You may register in person at the San Leandro Adult School Administrative Office, located at 2255 Bancroft Ave. (across the street from San Leandro High School); open from 9am to NOON and 1pm to 4 pm. (closed for lunch from noon to 1 pm)
