High School Diploma & GED

Earn a diploma through Independent Study, college classes, and/or through traditional classes. Classes available for students whose test scores do not meet minimum basic requirements. All students must earn a minimum of five credits through San Leandro Adult School to earn a diploma.

Please bring $30 CASH to the Orientation for your Non-Refundable Application Fee, and bring your transcript.

CAHSEE Preparation

San Leandro Adult School requires CAHSEE Preparation classes for students who need to pass one or both sections of the CAHSEE. We offer classes that fit your schedule. Advisors assist in planning a customized program to meet your educational goals. Earn your diploma quickly through one of several paths. Meet one-on-one with an advisor. We are here to assist you.

Independent Study

Students who are unable to attend class on a regular basis may qualify for independent study. Students work independently a minimum of 15 hours per week and meet with a teacher once a week.
